Popular Frequency Asked Questions About Emsculpting

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • What is EMSCULPT?

EMSCULPT is a revolutionary technology that builds muscle and reduces fat. It’s an innovative way to contour your body by stimulating muscle contractions with no surgery or downtime. Emsculpt is FDA-cleared to safely and effectively build

19% -26% muscle and burn up to 23% fat. Treatment areas currently include buttocks (butt lift), abdomen, biceps, triceps, thighs, calves, and pelvic floor.

  • Who Can Benefit from Emsculpt?

EMSCULPT is perfect for anyone looking to build muscle and reduce fat to get defined abs or a non-invasive butt lift.  If you are a mother, you may notice a difference in the pelvic floor. This treatment is ideal for strengthening the pelvic floor to eliminate any embarrassing leaks. If you do not enjoy working out at the gym and have little time during your days to complete a full workout.  Emsculpt is the perfect solution for you. Our Emsculpt Specialist will work with you on a tailored treatment plan.

  • Does Emsculpt hurt?

The Emsculpt procedure feels like an intensive workout of muscles in the target area being treated. The procedure is painless; you will feel strong contractions of the muscles. The Emsculpt specialist will choose the right intensity level for you and make sure that you are comfortable throughout the course of your treatment.

  • What’s New with Emsculpt?

Second generation Emsculpt has much more powerful contraction levels than the original Emsculpt which uses High Intensity Electro Magnetic (HIFEM) energy. We also have the new paddle to work your pelvic floor.

  • How Fast Will I See Results?

Results can be felt straight after the first treatment, similar to an intensive workout at the gym. Results are usually seen two to four weeks after the last session in the series of treatments. The muscles require time to adapt and strengthen, Visible results continue to improve for weeks to months after the treatment.

  • How Many Emsculpt Treatments are Needed to See Results?

The number of treatments required is dependent on your body type, BMI, and your desired results.  One series of Emsculpt treatment will increase muscle up to 19% and reduce fat by up to 23% in the treated area. Many people are pleased with the results of just one series of Emsculpt treatment.  We recommend a series of 4 treatments to be carried out once or twice a week.

  • How Long Does the Emsculpt Treatment Take?

After a 15-minute free consultation, treatment to one area will take 30 minutes. If having more than one area treated, it will take 30minutes per treatment area. Emsculpt is non-surgical and non-invasive so there is no downtime.  This treatment could literally be done during lunch break with you returning to work straight afterwards.

  • How much Does the emsculpt treatment cost?

4 sessions to one area cost £2500. If you take advantage of our special offer, we will give you 2 free sessions off your next booking to the second area of your choice. We are happy to discuss payment plans if you prefer to spread the cost over the course of your treatment.

  • Is Any Pre/Post Treatment Preparation Required?

We recommend that you do not consume food an hour before your treatment if you are having treatment on your abdominals.

  • Medical or Conditions that make Emsculpt unsuitable?

EMSCULPT treatment is not recommended in some circumstances due to the electromagnetic effects of the treatment. Emsculpt is not an appropriate choice if you:

    • Have implanted metal, a pacemaker or cardiac defibrillator near the treatment site.

    • Have cardiac issues or a history of seizures.

    • Have a hernia or have had recent surgery near the treatment site.

An Emsculpt Specialist will evaluate these considerations during your free consultation.
